This is Ashley Samuels and I went to Franktown Community Baptist church when you pastored there with my mom Debbie Samuels and my Dad Allen Samuels. I don't know if you remember me but I felt the need to get back in touch with you. I was young, but you really touched my life back then. Hope to hear back from you soon,

Hi Pastor Steve & Jolene,
I am in Nashville, TN with my sister who just had major lung surgery. As I sit here thinking about my church and my pastor I feel really lonesome. You came into my life and the life of our church at just the right time. Your friendly smile and caring spirit have meant a lot to me. Also the times we have spent in prayer on Wednesday nights. Thanks for who you are and how you serve the Lord with us.

I am so excited as to what God is doing through the people at Eaglebrook and especially in SLP, as this is our 'backyard'. Whoever would've thought when we started attending @ Lino just 3 years ago that Eaglebrook would come to us!!!! It is a privilege to be associated with such an awesome staff and such an awesome community of believers. Go God!

Steve
My wife, Julie and I went out to Lino Lakes Campus last year with my daughter and her husband. When Spring Lake Park opened up, they started attending there and invited us along.

After many years of drifting from God and the church, we have been coming to SLP almost every weekend and we feel like we have once again found a spiritual home. I know you have heard it before, but we find ourselves looking forward to the weekend service, something I thought was not possible.

Eagle Brook has kept it's promise to be Real + Relevant, and in doing so has shown us the path back to God's grace.

Thank you and God Bless you.

Awesome... I love that story. For a new believer to consider talking with the creator of the universe, it's easy to see how this would be very intimidating. This fear actually speaks to the genuineness of her belief. What a great way to put her at ease. It's nice to know that our God is a gentle and loving heavenly Father eagerly awaiting for the time we seek him out and simply talk to him. That's a great story. Thanks Steve.

What a great analogy for serving. We have so much fun serving at SLP! I totally agree with the fact that you can only watch so long and then you just have to join in. It was not easy taking the first step and talking to people I didn't know-but what a great experience. Each person lead me to another person that thought my gifts and abilities would serve their area of ministry well. Get going! They are some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. PS. The Cafe' is looking for people!!!! Thought I would get that plug in there:)

I was just wondering with the parking lot issue whether there are any plans to pave the dirt area beyond the pavement? It seems like there could be a more constructive use of space there if it were paved. Just a thought :)
